I still have yet to receive my card with the uniform allowance on it 🤣 everytime I ask my manager about it he says he put in for it.. then they always wanna try to switch it on me and ask me if I have my address updated as if I haven’t had the same address since I’ve been here 😂😂😂 everything else gets sent there so idk what the issue is. Can I call someone so I can talk to them myself and maybe have them send it? Not talking to my shop steward cause he literally works at the same office and never did anything when I said something about it either. This week they extended the time so that now it lasts from the end of the team tournament till the beginning of the next team tournament, but we jumped from a doable 9.5k to 24k with the prize being the same (Sky Pirates total payout:150 coins, 2 rockets, 2 bombs, 1 disco balls, 4 hammers,1 boxing glove, 1 anvil, 3 dice, 105 mins unlimited lives, 105 mins free bomb, 105 min free rocket, 15 min free anvil, 15 min free boxing glove.) Our team’s statistician went team hopping to gather data and found many different tier 8 requirements with no solid link between team scores or number of members to how this figure differs from others. I have asked support but am expecting their usual canned response of we are testing various things so everyone is different….. Can everyone post their Team’s score, number of members and tier 8 required score and if your total rewards differ from what’s posted above so we can all compare? While vinyl isn’t my primary music listening format and I’m mostly collecting records for fun, I still want to be able to keep them nice for as long as possible. Up until now I’ve been using a Crosley Cruiser Premier, a suitcase model, but I hear that those ruin records (I haven’t really had problems with it, but I figure I probably won’t be able to detect significant wear on my records until it’s too late). I don’t really know much about turntables or stereo systems, so I’d like some advice on what to buy/save up for. I want to know what turntable will give me the best bang for my buck, and maybe recommend some quality speakers and/or a stereo system that won’t break the bank. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet (though it’s possible I missed it). There’s this app called Affirm which appears to be something like a payday loan company and has bizarre commercials. The most annoying one has a bride-to-be trying on an heirloom dress in front of her mother and grandmother. On the coffee table is a spread containing foodstuffs such as jam and gravy (I guess because they wanted to have a nice lunch for the get-together). Well, the bride apparently thinks the family heirloom dress is too old-fashioned & dowdy for her and wants a new dress, so what does she do? She “accidentally on purpose” falls onto the coffee table slowly and deliberately pours & rubs the food & condiments all over herself while making exaggerated & fake “Oh, no!” comments. The grandmother looks at her blankly before telling her, “Just buy the dress,” which the bridezilla does. I’m sorry, is this supposed to be funny? It’s just some overgrown brat ruining a family heirloom instead of using any tact or politeness. Intentionally destroying things can be funny, but not like this. Also, why does she need grandma’s permission to buy a dress or use the Affirm app? Why are her relatives just taking all this and giving in to her? The relatives should have told her, “Well, I guess you’ll be standing at the altar in a stained dress! Too bad!
